Roche seeks an intern for its MSAT team in Rotkreuz to support manufacturing operations, troubleshoot MES systems, and manage quality documentation for blood gas sensors.
This internship is embedded within the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team under Sensor & Cartridge Operations. The position places the candidate at the center of daily production activities, providing direct support for the manufacturing and quality control of Roche Blood Gas and Electrolyte Sensors and Reagents while handling real-time system issues.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for production line operators.
- Diagnose and resolve technical exceptions, system errors, and quality deviations within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Oversee quality events by conducting root cause analyses and coordinating necessary corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain GxP-compliant documentation, including work instructions and process records.
- Facilitate operational changes through formal Change Management processes to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Document product, system, and process knowledge in internal Wiki articles.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program, or graduated within the past 12 months.
- Degree in life sciences, chemistry, process engineering, biotechnology, applied informatics, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in both English and German.
