Internship - MSAT Validation & Control (m/fd)

Merck (Schweiz) AG seeks an Intern for MSAT Validation & Control in Corsier-sur-Vevey. The role focuses on reviewing historical validation activities and developing standardized strategies for WCBs within a GMP environment.

This internship supports the Healthcare team, which is dedicated to developing medicines and technologies. The position involves analyzing current validation practices at the Vevey manufacturing site to identify opportunities for harmonization and standardization, ultimately aiming to create a scientifically sound and regulatory-compliant validation strategy for all WCBs.

Responsibilities

• Examine past validation activities for WCBs conducted at the Vevey site.
• Assess existing methods to find ways to standardize and harmonize processes.
• Create a validation strategy that meets regulatory standards and applies to all WCBs.
• Evaluate how the new approach might improve efficiency and reduce the overall validation workload.
• Work with MSAT teams and other stakeholders to help implement the proposed strategy.
• Share results, recommendations, and project outcomes with the wider team.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree or Engineering program in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and validation within a GMP-regulated setting.
• Possess fluent English language skills.
