Internship Junior Event Manager (a) - 6-12 Months

Bachem seeks an Intern Junior Event Manager for a 6-12 month placement in Bubendorf, CH. This role supports the Marketing Department in organizing customer visits, workshops, and corporate events to foster organic growth.

This internship sits within the Marketing Department at Bachem. The primary purpose is to bolster the team's capacity to drive continuous organic growth by managing and executing various marketing and employer branding activities.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, coordinate, and carry out customer visits and on-site gatherings.
• Assist in arranging workshops, meetings, and corporate functions to guarantee a high-quality guest experience.
• Manage logistical details such as venue selection, catering, scheduling, and necessary materials.
• Work with internal teams and outside vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Provide on-site assistance before, during, and after events.
• Support the organization of HR-focused and employer branding initiatives.
• Handle event materials, promotional items, and giveaways.
• Monitor event timelines, track activities, and manage follow-up tasks.
• Identify opportunities to improve event processes and participant satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior event managers on cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Currently studying or having completed education in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Some practical experience in event management, marketing, hospitality, or project coordination.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• A proactive, hands-on, and solution-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team-oriented and service-minded approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Very good command of both German and English.
• Willingness to work outside regular office hours when needed.
