Jet Aviation seeks an Intern for SCM Procurement in Basel for a 6-month term. The role focuses on supply chain processes, digital transformation, and contract management within a global aviation context.
This internship provides a chance to engage in supply chain operations and digital transformation projects within a leading global business aviation company. The position supports key initiatives in contract lifecycle management, ERP system usage, and supplier negotiations, allowing the intern to contribute to process optimization and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate contracts within the digital contract tool and SAP ERP system.
- Manage documentation uploads and organization, assisting in the migration from shared folders to SharePoint.
- Track contractual obligations, including annual fees and other agreed terms.
- Support sourcing efforts by performing market benchmarks, issuing RFQs, and evaluating supplier proposals.
- Assist in supplier negotiations and the review of terms and conditions.
- Help design and implement KPIs by analyzing data and contributing to a framework for data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to process optimization and task automation using digital tools like Excel macros and ServiceNOW.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Must maintain active student status throughout the internship period.
- Demonstrates an analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- A quick learner with a proactive attitude, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a specific emphasis on Excel.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related area is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Knowledge of French and/or German is considered a plus.
