IT Engineer 1

IQVIA AG seeks a Mid-level IT Engineer to manage Microsoft 365 infrastructure, identity lifecycle, and access controls within a global healthcare technology environment.

The company is looking for an IT Engineer to oversee IT systems and infrastructure, with a specific focus on identity lifecycle management, access controls, and tenant operations. This role ensures the stability and security of large-scale enterprise identity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 authentication and access services, including Entra Connect, domain management, and user administration.
• Operate and support Microsoft identity solutions within large-scale enterprise settings.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Diagnose and resolve complex authentication and authorization issues across cloud, hybrid, and federated identity environments.
• Troubleshoot SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC) federation issues, including metadata exchange, certificate lifecycle, claims mapping, and token inspection.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, including MFA, Conditional Access, device management, application management, and Zero Trust security principles.
• Extensive experience across Microsoft identity platforms, including Entra ID, PingFederate, MFA, Conditional Access policies, Application Proxy, and hybrid authentication scenarios.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern authentication frameworks such as MSAL, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and related identity technologies.
• Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) architecture and federation design.
• Experience integrating SaaS applications using SAML, OIDC, or SCIM provisioning.
• Knowledge of PowerShell automation and Microsoft Graph APIs for identity administration and reporting.
