IT Network Manager

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior IT Network Manager in Zürich to oversee enterprise network operations, security standards, and vendor coordination on-site.

This position serves as the primary liaison between the internal network team and external IT service providers. The incumbent is responsible for the complete scope of IT networking and the associated security landscape, acting as the central point of contact for both daily operations and strategic development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day functioning of the corporate network alongside external service partners, addressing operational inquiries and driving improvements.
• Oversee vendor relationships by coordinating closely with IT service providers and taking part in relevant governance committees.
• Track service level agreements (SLAs) and represent the organization in operational forums, collaborating with system and security teams to maintain robust network protection.
• Diagnose, evaluate, and fix network incidents, changes, and operational issues, including the authorization of proxy and firewall rule exceptions.

Requirements

• Proven track record in managing enterprise network infrastructures in an operational capacity.
• Hands-on experience with automating network deployments and related workflows.
• Strong understanding of modern security frameworks, specifically the NIST Cyber Security Framework and Zero Trust principles.
• Professional proficiency in both German and English, meeting at least a B2 level in each language.
