Junior Solution Engineer / Technical Consultant (Professional Services)

Parashift seeks a Junior Solution Engineer / Technical Consultant to join its Professional Services team in Switzerland. The role involves implementing the Parashift platform for clients by translating business needs into technical configurations, with a focus on document automation and workflow optimization.

This position is part of the Professional Services team, responsible for deploying the Parashift platform for clients. The role centers on converting business requirements into technical setups, supporting the company’s expansion into midsize European enterprises through its outbound Sales & GTM team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure the Parashift platform, including automation agents, ERP-Automation Matching, document types, extraction rules, and workflows.
• Improve system performance by reviewing live project results and adjusting configurations as needed.
• Assist clients by analyzing their document processes and demonstrating how the platform addresses their data challenges.
• Build technical expertise by learning from the team and taking ownership of assigned work packages to become a reliable specialist.

Requirements

• A degree or training in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Computer Science, or a similar technical field.
• Strong ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts.
• Comfortable working with data structures and logical systems.
• Experience with or a strong willingness to learn REST APIs, JSON, XML, and Regular Expressions (Regex).
• Analytical thinking to break down complex use-cases into clear, structured tasks.
• Proactive mindset, eagerness to grow, and readiness to take on responsibility early in the role.
• Clear communication of technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Native or fluent German and fluent English are required.
