(Junior) Strategy Consultant - Bank Finance Transformation (m/f/d)

Fioneer seeks a (Junior) Strategy Consultant to support finance transformation programs for banking clients, blending strategic consulting with technology solutions in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

This position is designed for individuals who excel at bridging strategy and technology. The role involves joining a global team dedicated to creating customer value through finance and risk solutions, allowing you to tackle meaningful projects and contribute to impactful initiatives within the Finance Division from the very beginning.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in driving strategic workstreams for banking finance transformation initiatives.
• Convert intricate business challenges into practical solutions and clear roadmaps alongside your colleagues.
• Work closely with cross-functional groups, including product, delivery, and architecture teams.
• Participate in client engagements from initial concept development through execution, potentially interacting with C-level executives.
• Develop presentations and aid the team in preparing for client meetings.
• Contribute to internal capability building and support team development efforts.
• Help shape and refine the finance and risk transformation offerings for banking clients.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Initial experience in strategy consulting, preferably with a robust analytical background.
• Strong affinity for technology, with comfort using digital tools, data models, and transformation platforms.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Background in banking, including an understanding of industry dynamics.
• Familiarity with transformation programs, including process or operating model design and system implementation.
• Experience in risk management.
• Knowledge of finance software, particularly SAP and SAP Fioneer.
• German language skills.
