Fioneer seeks a Senior Regional Banking Client Partner for EMEA based in Zürich, CH. The role involves end-to-end ownership of strategic banking clients, driving growth and transformation through business development and delivery, combining financial services expertise with SAP technology.
SAP Fioneer is developing next-generation banking platforms by combining financial services expertise with SAP technology. This role requires entrepreneurial ownership over a portfolio of strategic banking clients in the EMEA region, spanning business development to successful delivery. It is not a traditional delivery or sales role, but an end-to-end client leadership position focused on growth and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a portfolio of key banking clients, driving growth and transformation
- Serve as the primary executive-level contact for clients
- Develop lasting client relationships that extend beyond individual projects
- Collaborate with Solutioning and Product teams to shape strategic solution directions
- Ensure successful delivery of commercial commitments in practice
- Act as Executive Sponsor for critical client programs
- Partner with Sales and Go-to-Market teams to scale growth
- Promote SAP Fioneer’s presence within the banking ecosystem
- Use your network and market access to identify and create new opportunities
Requirements
- Several years in a senior role within financial services, specifically in banking
- In-depth knowledge of transformation projects in transaction banking, payments, or core banking
- Demonstrated success in building and managing client relationships at executive level
- Proven ability to identify, structure, and execute complex business and transformation initiatives
- Skill in aligning commercial goals with delivery needs
- Experience leading large-scale programs in complex environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, and high execution capability
