Forum Fribourg SA seeks a Lead for Communications Partnering & Planning in Geneva to drive strategic communications for priority initiatives and events within the Global Communications Group.
This position sits within the Strategic Communications & Coordination team of the Global Communications Group. The primary purpose is to lead proactive communications planning for the Forum’s key initiatives, events, and products, reporting directly to the Head of Communications Partnering & Planning.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main communications advisor and liaison for various Forum Centres, event teams, and internal functions.
- Establish strong partnerships with internal teams to grasp their communication needs and offer strategic advice that supports institutional goals.
- Oversee annual and quarterly communication planning cycles, creating integrated strategies for major campaigns, reports, and milestones.
- Design and manage cross-functional thematic campaigns that unite different departments to highlight priority issues and increase impact.
- Manage and update the institutional communications calendar to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and external events.
- Direct communication planning for Forum events, including the development of core narratives and key messages.
- Collaborate with media, public engagement, digital, and stakeholder teams to ensure cohesive execution of communication plans.
- Provide expert guidance on editorial planning and adherence to the Forum’s brand, messaging, and visual identity guidelines.
- Organize and lead workshops and briefing sessions to enhance communication capabilities across the organization.
- Spearhead the creation and distribution of the Forum’s Annual Report, coordinating inputs from across the company.
- Stay informed about emerging communication trends and digital developments relevant to the Forum’s agenda.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in communications, journalism, public relations, international relations, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, campaign management, or marketing.
- Fluent written and verbal English skills.

- Ability to communicate in additional languages.
