Communications Manager

Gunvor seeks a Senior Communications Manager in Geneva to lead internal and external communication strategies, enhance employee engagement, and support leadership initiatives across a global workforce.

This role focuses on crafting and delivering clear, engaging communications that align employees with the company’s strategy and culture. The position supports leadership messaging, change management, and key corporate initiatives while fostering collaboration and business performance within a diverse, international team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive internal and external communication plans.
• Oversee leadership messaging, employee engagement programs, change management updates, intranet content, social media, website updates, corporate presentations, marketing materials, and employer branding efforts.
• Produce compelling content and campaigns that link staff to organizational goals and values.
• Maintain consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
• Create high-quality written materials such as articles, speeches, reports, announcements, and marketing collateral.
• Support graduate, internship, and early careers programs through recruitment marketing, campus outreach, and employer branding campaigns.
• Design or coordinate the production of digital and print communications materials.
• Develop executive presentations and corporate PowerPoint materials for leadership meetings, conferences, and external events.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, creative agencies, printers, photographers, and event providers.
• Administer and enhance Microsoft 365 communication tools, including SharePoint-based intranet platforms and Teams.
• Coordinate corporate events, employee engagement activities, and internal campaigns across multiple locations.
• Measure communication effectiveness through employee feedback, analytics, and engagement metrics.

Requirements

• Basic university degree required.
• 8–12 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and intranet platforms.
• Experience managing digital and print communications, photography, graphic design, video content, and external creative agencies.
• Experience working in a multinational, fast-paced corporate environment with diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
• English mandatory.

Nice to have

• Advanced degrees.
• French, German, Spanish language skills.
• Knowledge of and experience with WordPress CMS.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, including ChatGPT and Claude.
