Director Global Communications

Jet Aviation seeks a Director of Global Communications in Basel to lead international strategy, manage crisis response, and guide a global team while reporting to senior leadership.

This position serves as a strategic partner to senior executives across global and regional operations, with direct reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Brand, Marketing & Customer. The role involves leading an international team of communications professionals to strengthen the brand, support business growth, and drive engagement among internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement creative communication strategies tailored for global and EMEA markets.
• Collaborate with senior leaders globally and within the EMEA region to align communication efforts.
• Work closely with Human Resources to design and deliver internal engagement initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with international media and manage proactive public relations and reputation management.
• Establish and enforce communication policies, tools, and standards across the organization.
• Guarantee that accurate and timely business information is accessible to all relevant audiences.
• Champion the creation of informative and engaging content across various channels.
• Lead crisis response strategies to protect and enhance the company’s reputation during critical issues.
• Inspire and manage a global team of communications experts.
• Use analytics to assess the impact of communication efforts and optimize future strategies.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of senior-level experience in corporate communications or public affairs.
• A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, including building and managing diverse teams.
• Native proficiency in English with exceptional writing and proofreading capabilities.
