The company is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide practical legal advice on commercial, corporate, and governance matters. This mid-level role is based in Zofingen and reports to the Global Head of Integrity, Risk & Insurance.
This legal generalist position provides broad exposure to commercial, corporate, integrity, and governance matters within an international setting. The role reports to the Global Head of Integrity, Risk & Insurance and supports the business by providing practical, solution-oriented legal advice. The position is based at the Zofingen site and is part of the legal team.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on integrity, corporate governance, commercial and contract law matters.
- Assist in developing and maintaining global data protection, privacy and information security frameworks.
- Contribute to integrity, insurance and risk management initiatives and improve related frameworks and policies.
- Provide day-to-day legal support across procurement, sales, operations and corporate functions.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as manufacturing, supply, procurement, service and confidentiality agreements.
- Support dispute management and assist in handling and resolving out-of-court and in-court disputes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Law (Swiss MLaw or equivalent international qualification) preferred; Bachelor's degree with relevant experience also considered.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm, consulting environment or in-house legal department.
- Exposure to commercial, corporate or contract law.
- Professional proficiency in English and German (written and spoken) is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or CDMO industry.
- Additional experience or interest in data protection, information security, compliance, risk management or related areas.
- Admission to the bar.
- Additional language skills, particularly French or Spanish.
