Legal Engineer

Omnilex seeks a Legal Engineer in Zürich to bridge legal practice and engineering, driving product adoption and workflow integration for law firms.

This position serves as the critical link between practicing attorneys and the engineering team. The successful candidate will take full ownership of outcomes, guiding cautious firms through a comprehensive rollout of Omnilex while ensuring the product evolves to meet real-world legal needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the testing and deployment phases at key client accounts.
• Advise law firms on integrating the platform into their daily operations.
• Pinpoint obstacles to adoption and eliminate them.
• Lead the transition from initial pilot programs to complete firm-wide implementation.
• Document challenges faced by lawyers, their specific requests, and workarounds they currently use.
• Translate user insights into a structured, prioritized product roadmap.
• Collaborate frequently with developers to provide the legal context necessary for every feature request.
• Facilitate hands-on sessions with legal professionals to show how the tool aligns with their specific practice areas.
• Describe new capabilities using legal terminology rather than technical jargon.

Requirements

• Possess a law degree or substantial experience working within a law firm or legal department.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of decision-making processes within legal organizations and how to navigate them.
• Feel equally at ease in client-facing meetings and technical discussions with developers.
• Focus on delivering results rather than merely completing tasks.
• Maintain a structured and persistent approach to advancing initiatives within slow-moving institutions.
• Communicate with exactness and clarity.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in LegalTech or AI-driven SaaS products.
• Fluency in German, French, and English.
