The company invites an early-career finance professional to join the Legal Entity Finance team in Zurich. The role aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of statutory and regulatory reporting for Swiss reinsurance entities while contributing to broader finance transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory and regulatory reports for Swiss reinsurance entities, maintaining full compliance.
- Analyze financial results and business drivers to support the creation of management and regulatory commentaries.
- Develop presentations and reporting materials for senior stakeholders, clearly communicating key insights.
- Improve reporting processes, controls, and data quality through governance documentation and continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify opportunities to automate and standardize reporting workflows, supporting the implementation of efficient solutions.
- Assist with projects impacting Swiss statutory reporting, including analysis, implementation support, and documentation.
- Support forecasting and planning activities by preparing, validating, and ensuring the quality of data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Initial professional experience in finance, accounting, reporting, or data analysis, such as through internships or working student positions.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and their practical application.
- Proficiency in Excel and a genuine interest in working with financial systems and data tools.
Nice to have
- Interest in or exposure to insurance or reinsurance finance environments.
- Basic familiarity with statutory or regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g. Swiss statutory, SST).
- Exposure to data analytics, visualisation, or automation tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar.
- Experience supporting process improvements or finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with reliability and precision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with comfort working across diverse, international teams.
