Grant Thornton Switzerland seeks a Manager for Regulatory & Compliance to advise financial institutions on Swiss and international regulations, combining risk consulting with prudential audit responsibilities.
In this position, the successful candidate will serve as an engagement manager, providing risk and compliance consulting and outsourcing services to banks, asset managers, and other financial service providers. The role involves advising clients on all aspects of financial market regulations, ensuring adherence to both Swiss legislation and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and resolving complex legal matters by considering Swiss laws and international regulatory influences.
- Leading prudential audit assignments as a specialist in financial regulations.
- Participating in interdisciplinary projects and supporting internal strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- A university degree in Law or Economics, with a strong interest in financial law.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland, ideally in a Big4 or comparable environment.
- Strong customer and team orientation as well as a high level of commitment.
- Fluent in French and English.
