Mechanical Engineer

Buhlergroup seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Makati City to deliver plant design engineering services for global food, feed, and mobility projects.

This position focuses on providing comprehensive engineering services for plant and machine design within the food, feed, and mobility sectors. The role supports the company’s mission to create innovations that promote healthy, safe, and sustainable solutions for a better world.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engineering tasks for plants and machines as part of assigned projects.
• Join project reviews and meetings, assisting the Project Manager to ensure execution aligns with company processes.
• Create practical and efficient layouts for production lines and manufacturing facilities to improve material flow, safety, and space utilization.
• Address design, installation, and commissioning challenges with guidance from the Project Manager.
• Monitor project schedules to guarantee timely completion, prioritizing tasks to stay within budgeted hours and deadlines.
• Verify that all project deliverables meet quality standards, internal guidelines, and EHS requirements.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Possess foundational knowledge of CAD software.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English.
• Understand core manufacturing principles.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal abilities and teamwork skills.
• Show effective problem-solving capabilities.
