Sandoz Schweiz seeks a Senior Medical Manager in Rotkreuz to lead Medical Affairs strategy, oversee clinical research input, and manage stakeholder engagement for its therapy area.
In this senior position, the Medical Manager drives the design and execution of Medical Affairs plans for the assigned therapy area. The role serves as a scientific hub, facilitating clinical study design, maintaining educational dialogues with key opinion leaders, and ensuring high-quality responses to medical inquiries while coordinating cross-functional insights.
Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and compliant responses to all medical inquiries according to established standards.
- Contribute scientific expertise to the planning and execution of clinical trials and related research activities.
- Assist in shaping country-level strategies for Non-Interventional Studies and Investigator-Initiated Trials.
- Oversee the review and approval processes for medical documentation and locally developed promotional content.
- Share medical insights with cross-functional teams, including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial, and Brand departments.
- Identify and assess risks, then develop, implement, and monitor internal control measures to mitigate them.
- Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios regarding Sandoz products within 24 hours of receipt.
Requirements
- A scientific degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, (Molecular) Biology, or a related field, completed with a PhD or doctoral thesis.
- Fluent command of both German and English.
- Very strong proficiency in French and/or Italian.
- Excellent ability to present scientific data clearly in German and English.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly within Generics and/or Biosimilars.
- Ability to present scientific data in French or Italian.
