Microsoft BI & SQL Server Consultant

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Mid-level Microsoft BI & SQL Server Consultant for a hybrid role in Switzerland, focusing on database administration, BI reporting, and data warehousing.

This position acts as the primary technical advisor for clients in various sectors, delivering solutions centered on business intelligence and database management. The consultant operates within a hybrid work model, engaging with teams across different sites in Switzerland to support ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, configuration, integration, and maintenance of Microsoft BI services and SQL Server database environments.
• Create interactive data visualizations and reports using business intelligence and analytics platforms.
• Perform diagnostic checks to identify system issues and implement necessary resolutions.
• Optimize system performance and develop automated processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain high availability standards for critical database services.
• Design and implement data warehousing models.
• Extract and transform data from diverse sources, including Azure SQL, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive Business Intelligence reports.

Requirements

• Hold a higher education degree or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate extensive experience and deep knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack.
• Possess strong proficiency in managing and working with SQL Server databases.
• Be fluent in either French or German, depending on the specific project location, and have a proficient command of English.
