NDT-Technician

SR Technics in Zürich seeks a Mid-level NDT Technician to perform PT/MT inspections and ensure quality compliance within a global engine MRO environment.

As a key member of a world-leading engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul provider with over nine decades of experience, this role supports the company’s mission to safely power flight. The technician operates within a dynamic, global team, ensuring rigorous inspection standards are met while collaborating closely with production and quality departments.

Responsibilities

• Execute penetrant testing (PT) and magnetic particle testing (MT) inspections, along with other non-destructive testing methods as required.
• Accurately evaluate inspection findings and document all results in compliance with internal protocols.
• Ensure all inspection orders are completed within the specified deadlines.
• Adhere strictly to EN 4179 and NAS 410 standards, as well as internal quality guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on inspection equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Conduct 5S workplace audits and implement corrective actions to maintain order and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to address and resolve inspection findings.

Requirements

• Completion of a technical apprenticeship.
• Possession of PT/MT certification according to EN 4179/NAS 410, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain it.
• A highly accurate, detail-oriented, and documentation-focused work approach.
• Excellent visual acuity with no color vision deficiencies.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability.
• Flexibility to work in a two-shift rotation.
• Proficiency in both English and German at a minimum B2 level.
• Competence in using MS Office applications.
