Onsite Manufacturing, Logistics & Lab IT Specialist (GxP | German & English)

D Ploy seeks a Mid-level Onsite Manufacturing, Logistics & Lab IT Specialist in Schaffhausen, CH. The role requires fluency in German and English, hands-on experience in GxP environments, and technical expertise in Windows, networking, and troubleshooting. Candidates must be local, willing to work onsite, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical support, planning, and coordination for distributed IT environments, covering desktops, software, hardware, and remote access technologies.
• Diagnose, install, and resolve issues related to computers, operating systems, applications, and hardware.
• Handle troubleshooting and deployment of remote access technologies.
• Offer technical guidance to the team and assist in selecting appropriate tools and methods for timely service delivery.
• Work independently to analyze, design, and implement desktop solutions that meet business needs.
• Act as a technical bridge between user groups, vendors, IT partners, and consultants to evaluate technical challenges and products.
• Implement IT solutions aligned with business unit requirements.
• Apply creativity and initiative in solving technical problems, while ensuring compliance with security standards and deploying security measures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in GxP environments within manufacturing, logistics, or laboratory settings.
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse systems (both infrastructure and applications).
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with Windows Server OS, including task execution and issue resolution.
• Intermediate understanding of LAN/WAN environments.
• Intermediate knowledge of communication protocols and PC-to-Server access.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving complex, diverse technical issues.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for PC hardware, operating systems, and office software, with expert-level expertise in at least one specialization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze network devices, PC network hardware, and client software.
• Proven ability to foster and model positive collaboration across teams.
• Experience using GenAI tools.
• Experience with end-to-end observability.
• Project management and project execution skills.
• Experience with Cisco or Siemens networking equipment and tools.
• Serving as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for manufacturing, labs, or logistics.
• Residing within 1 hour of the main work location (including traffic).
• Ownership of a car and possession of a valid local driver’s license.
• Willingness to work fully onsite.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Must provide a criminal record extract not older than three months.
