D-ploy seeks a Mid-level Lab IT Technician in Stein to provide GxP-compliant IT support for pharmaceutical systems, requiring fluent English and German.
This position places an IT professional within the pharmaceutical sector to manage and support laboratory IT infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring that computerized systems meet regulatory standards while providing day-to-day technical assistance to lab personnel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first and second-line technical support, both remotely and on-site.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware such as Windows workstations, scanners, printers, and handheld devices.
- Qualify computerized systems in line with established strategies.
- Handle user account administration and assist in rolling out new software tools.
- Conduct regular system reviews for GMP-compliant applications and backup procedures.
- Collaborate with external software vendors to resolve issues.
- Document installation processes and prepare periodic status reports.
- Investigate and resolve problems related to analytical software and lab PCs.
- Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience in a comparable role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid IT background, with prior experience supporting laboratory environments being preferred.
- Strong motivation to work within regulated GxP frameworks.
- Proficiency in various analytical software applications.
- Familiarity with the Qualification V-Model, including IQ, OQ, and PQ processes.
- Comfort working in paper-based documentation environments.
- Fluent command of both English and German.
- Submission of a criminal record extract issued within the last three months.
