Operational Technology Engineer

D Ploy, an IT and engineering solutions company with operations across EMEA and the USA, seeks a Mid-level Operational Technology Engineer for a full-time onsite role in Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland. The role involves supporting OT systems in lab and production environments, ensuring compliance with GxP standards, and acting as a liaison between local users and global IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational support for OT systems in laboratory and production settings
• Assist with laboratory instruments and manufacturing equipment
• Maintain system availability, reliability, and adherence to GxP standards
• Resolve incidents and conduct root cause analysis
• Implement changes following the change control process
• Manage the hardware and software lifecycle of OT assets
• Coordinate procurement of OT-related equipment
• Serve as a liaison between local lab/production users and global IT teams
• Act as a point of contact between global IT teams and equipment vendors
• Support validation and compliance efforts when needed
• Keep documentation up to date in alignment with regulated standards

Requirements

• Experience in OT or industrial IT, including lab and manufacturing systems
• Understanding of GxP compliance requirements
• Prior experience in validation or regulated environments
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience coordinating with vendors
• Knowledge of integrated IT/OT systems
• Background in IT support, Service Desk, or Field Support
• Flexible and team-oriented approach
• Experience collaborating in multinational teams
• Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written)
• Candidates must provide a criminal record extract no older than three months
