IT Support Technician (Kiosk / Smart Hands / End User Support)

The role focuses on delivering hands-on technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring compliance in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user devices including laptops, desktops, mobiles, and peripherals
• Manage walk-in support at the IT service kiosk
• Provide on-site 'smart hands' assistance for global IT teams
• Install and repair network cables
• Conduct physical inspections in server rooms and office IT areas
• Perform basic troubleshooting under remote guidance
• Handle incident management at 1st and 2nd line levels
• Process service requests from users
• Replace and set up hardware components
• Coordinate device lifecycle activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose)
• Follow procedures for GxP and regulated environments
• Rotate duties with internal staff; no fixed single assignment

Requirements

• Prior experience in IT support, Service Desk, or Field Support roles
• Familiarity with Windows OS, O365, and basic networking concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar tools
• Strong communication skills for direct user interaction
• Flexible and team-focused work style
• Experience collaborating in multinational teams
• Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
• Must provide a criminal record extract no older than three months
