Ligentec seeks a Senior Operations Manager in Ecublens, CH to lead Swiss production teams, manage third-party FAB operations, and drive cost savings while ensuring on-time delivery and supplier relations.
The company is looking for a senior leader to transition advanced technology into market-ready products and accelerate the adoption of SOI technology. This role focuses on managing daily operations, optimizing production, and building strategic partnerships to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead Swiss production teams across front-end and back-end processes.
- Oversee daily activities at the third-party fabrication facility, including scheduling, reducing cycle times, and improving tool utilization.
- Maintain on-time delivery targets and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Develop and manage the strategic partnership with the FAB partner to secure production capacity and achieve ongoing cost reductions.
- Maintain CH facilities to ensure a productive and well-supported work environment.
- Manage end-to-end shipping and receiving processes to ensure efficient site logistics.
- Handle all purchasing activities with a focus on cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to ensure reliability, compliance, and competitive pricing.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of foundry operations, including materials and production processes.
- Proven managerial experience, including managing other managers and navigating complex matrix organizations.
- Extensive background in supplier relations, vendor assessment, and contract management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of driving cost-effective outcomes.
- Experience working in a multinational, multi-site corporate environment.
- Fluent English is required.
