Unit8 seeks a Palantir Foundry Engineer for a mid-level, full-time hybrid role in Lausanne, Switzerland. The position involves supporting client projects in industries like automotive, pharma, and finance using Palantir Foundry, with a focus on data pipelines, quality, and agile collaboration.
This role supports client initiatives in traditional industries such as automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing, and pharma by leveraging the Palantir Foundry platform. The engineer will be part of agile teams focused on data and AI solutions, contributing to the development and optimization of data systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex data pipelines and processing systems, primarily using Palantir Foundry and related technologies.
- Improve data quality through optimization, testing, and development of supporting tools.
- Collaborate with software engineers, machine learning specialists, and other stakeholders in cross-functional agile teams.
- Participate in agile teams to continuously test, refine, and deliver on product goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience using AIP, Workshop, Code repository, and Pipeline Builder within Palantir Foundry.
- Understanding of security features in Foundry, including restricted views and markings.
- Familiarity with Ontology and Data connection components in Palantir Foundry.
- Strong skills in Python and PySpark programming.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with the Palantir Foundry platform.
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business clients, present solutions, and solve complex problems.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to meet clients and team members.

- Basic knowledge of data modeling and data science principles such as classification, clustering, and regression.
