Mondelez Schweiz GmbH seeks a Senior Plant Controller in Bern to partner with plant management, drive cost optimization, and oversee financial reporting and compliance for manufacturing operations.
This position serves as a strategic finance partner to site leadership, helping to shape business decisions and support the plant's roadmap. The role focuses on fostering a cost-conscious culture, clarifying cost ownership, and identifying opportunities for significant savings across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing expenses, product costing, and cost-center results, using variance analysis to improve efficiency.
- Direct actuals and forecasting activities, track key operational and financial metrics, and flag potential risks or opportunities early.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance within the manufacturing facility, maintaining alignment with corporate standards and audit requirements.
- Streamline financial workflows and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least seven years of progressive experience in finance or controlling, preferably within manufacturing or supply chain settings.
- Demonstrated success in plant or site controlling, cost management, or financial business partnering.
- Experience in leading or developing team members.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with financial planning software.
- Full professional proficiency in both English and German.
Nice to have
- Master's degree (MBA, MSc) or professional certification (CMA, CPA, ACCA).
