Platform Solution Architect

Kanadevia Inova seeks a Platform Solution Architect in Zürich to lead the IFS ERP landscape architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and standardized enterprise solutions aligned with long-term strategy.

The company is a global innovation leader in waste infrastructure, transforming discarded materials into valuable resources like energy, heat, hydrogen, and fertilizer through advanced waste-to-X technology. This role serves as the architectural authority for the IFS ERP system, driving the design, evolution, and standardization of the enterprise landscape to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary authority for the IFS ERP landscape, overseeing its complete architecture, design, and ongoing evolution.
• Convert business needs into robust, secure, and maintainable IFS solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and long-term strategic goals.
• Champion a standard-first methodology to minimize customization, reduce technical debt, and ensure consistency across modules, integrations, and data.
• Establish integration patterns, API standards, and data governance frameworks while embedding security-by-design principles and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout design, build, and rollout phases, maintaining comprehensive documentation and supporting ERP roadmap planning.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Solution or ERP Architect, or senior ERP consultant in enterprise settings, with deep hands-on expertise in IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
• Comprehensive understanding of core ERP processes including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, and Projects, along with enterprise data models.
• Strong capabilities in solution design, integration, API development, and data architecture, with exposure to cloud/hybrid environments and architecture governance.
• Awareness of security and compliance requirements, coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Holding IFS certifications is considered an advantage.
