THN Capital AG is hiring a mid-level Power Trader for a short-term, on-site position in Switzerland. The role focuses on intraday trading across European markets during evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the intraday power portfolio across European auctions and continuous markets, specifically during evening and night shifts.
• Leverage internal forecasts, signals, and analytical models to spot trading opportunities and evaluate potential risks against rewards.
• Regularly review and enhance quantitative models and trading tools to maintain high levels of accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience in European power trading or a closely related sector.
• Demonstrate prior background in conducting fundamental analysis of European power markets.
• Show a solid understanding of flow-based market coupling mechanisms and European inter-connector flows.
• Hold a completed university degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
