Digital Wave Finance AG seeks a Mid-level Low Latency Algorithmic Trader for Asian markets (Equities, FX & Commodities) in Zug, CH. The role focuses on strategy P&L ownership, execution quality, and collaboration with research teams.
This position is responsible for overseeing the performance of algorithmic strategies across Asian and global markets. The trader interprets alpha signals, manages order book dynamics, and ensures high-quality execution while collaborating closely with researchers and engineers to refine trading approaches.
Responsibilities
- Oversee live algorithmic strategies in equities, FX, and commodities, with a primary focus on Asian markets.
- Evaluate intraday profit and loss attribution, slippage, and fill quality to spot execution inefficiencies.
- Adjust parameters or suspend strategies in response to market regime shifts or risk events.
- Partner with the research team to assess new signals and convert them into operational strategies.
- Maintain exchange connectivity and stay updated on Asian venue rules, fee structures, and regulatory updates.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in algorithmic trading or quantitative execution at a high-frequency trading firm, market maker, or tier-1 bank.
- Deep understanding of Asian market microstructure.
- Hands-on trading experience in equities, FX, or commodities.
- Strong quantitative foundation, including statistical reasoning, signal evaluation, and transaction cost analysis.
- Proficient in Python for rapid analysis of trade logs, market data, and strategy performance.
- Ability to make fast, evidence-based decisions under pressure in live market conditions.
