OTC Trader

IMC is seeking a Mid-level OTC Trader in Zug, CH to manage large-ticket crypto trades, grow PnL, and collaborate with internal teams. The role requires trading experience, Python skills, and a commercial mindset.

This commercially focused position at IMC centers on expanding the desk's profitability by executing substantial block trades within digital asset markets. The trader will handle significant transaction sizes, demanding a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and acute commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk on substantial transactions to secure optimal execution and competitive rates
• Track market trends and stay informed about macroeconomic and cryptocurrency developments that impact trading activities
• Partner with technology, compliance, and operations departments to ensure smooth workflows

Requirements

• At least two years of trading background, preferably on a flow or block trading desk
• Proven ability to manage large notional trades while maintaining robust risk controls
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, and trade tooling
• Strong commercial drive and a client-oriented approach
• Reliability and the capacity to make independent decisions under pressure
• Flexibility to work nonstandard hours, including weekends and evenings, with compensatory time off on other weekdays

Nice to have

• Backgrounds in traditional finance or non-crypto trading are encouraged, though prior crypto trading experience is highly valued
