OtC Specialist with German

Bystronic seeks a mid-level OtC Specialist with German language skills for a full-time, on-site role in Switzerland. The position involves managing order-to-cash processes, supporting internal teams, and ensuring smooth operations through SAP and MS Office tools.

This role focuses on overseeing the order-to-cash cycle, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, production, logistics, and finance teams to maintain efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Create sales orders and send order confirmations to customers.
• Review and complete orders within SAP.
• Coordinate with production, sales, logistics, warehouse, and carriers to track or expedite shipments.
• Prepare and issue invoices and shipping documents.
• Transmit invoices electronically.
• Monitor overdue payments and follow up with customers as needed.
• Apply provision policies and manage required write-offs.
• Handle incoming and outgoing payments and address customer inquiries.
• Carry out internal control procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements by suggesting new ideas.
• Identify and report opportunities for process enhancement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in order-to-cash or accounts receivable.
• Strong understanding of OtC/AR processes, with focus on order management, planning, and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting or Economics.
• Fluent in English and German (minimum B2/C1 level).
• Experience using SAP systems.
• Background in transition or change processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
