PtP Intern with German

Bystronic seeks a PtP Intern with German proficiency for a 3-month contract in Switzerland. The role involves processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and supporting procurement within a Centre of Excellence.

This internship is situated within the Procure-to-Pay (PtP) Department, operating inside a Centre of Excellence. The position provides exposure to an international environment where the intern will handle critical financial workflows and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming invoices from external suppliers, including coding and booking in compliance with DTPs and local accounting rules.
• Process intercompany invoices, travel and expense claims, urgent manual payments, and execute weekly payment runs.
• Track invoice approval workflows to ensure timely processing.
• Address vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Reconcile corporate card transactions.
• Create and maintain vendor master data within SAP.
• Support general procurement tasks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Fluency in Polish, German, and English at a minimum B2/C1 level.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
• Availability to commit 35 to 40 hours per week.
