The Private Assets Investment Analyst role at Lombard Odier in Geneva supports the Private Assets department by evaluating fund opportunities, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment materials for the private equity team.
This position sits within the Private Assets department at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. The analyst will collaborate closely with Investment Managers and team members throughout every phase of the private equity investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Keep the private assets fund opportunity pipeline current and organized
- Evaluate new private equity fund investments, co-investments, and direct deals, while tracking industry trends and market shifts
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, covering both qualitative and quantitative aspects
- Draft investment memoranda, due diligence reports, and materials for internal committees
- Track and report on the performance of existing fund investments, offering detailed insights
- Assist in creating marketing materials for LOIM private equity strategies and products
- Create sales pitches, presentations, and other resources for internal and external audiences
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering
- Essential prior experience in Private Equity, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking
- Native-level English proficiency
- Professional working proficiency in French
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive, innovative, and results-oriented approach
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively
