CTC Resourcing Solutions AG seeks a Senior Process Technology Principal Engineer for an onsite role in Bern. The position focuses on enhancing production facilities for biotherapeutics, requiring strong process engineering expertise and bilingual skills.
The client is a long-established manufacturer of biotherapeutics dedicated to treating rare diseases, including coagulation and immunological disorders. This role plays a key part in upgrading production infrastructure across fractionation, bulk processing, and fill/finish operations to support their global patient care mission.
Responsibilities
- Formulate technical design criteria and assist in drafting specifications, drawings, and documentation that comply with internal, local, and global standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), System Descriptions, and System Risk Assessments.
- Act as a subject matter expert for process engineering during CAPEX/OPEX projects, technology transfers, audits, and the evaluation of deviations or changes.
Requirements
- Hold a valid work/residency permit for Switzerland or possess Swiss/EU citizenship.
- Have completed basic technical training and hold a university or university of applied sciences degree in engineering.
- Possess over five years of experience in process engineering, with preference given to candidates from the pharmaceutical sector.
- Demonstrate excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.

- Prior experience working within the pharmaceutical industry.
