Procurement Specialist

The company seeks a Procurement Specialist for its Procurement department in Rotkreuz. The role focuses on indirect materials, supplier management, and fleet coordination within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the Procurement department at Roche Diagnostics (Schweiz) AG. The primary objective is to maintain a steady supply of goods at competitive rates while maximizing purchasing efficiency. The specialist will assist internal teams to create organizational value, analyze market trends, manage supplier relationships, and oversee the corporate fleet.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities specifically for indirect materials.
• Plan and control daily purchasing operations.
• Evaluate, select, and oversee external partners and suppliers.
• Assist with local, regional, and global tenders and purchasing initiatives.
• Help negotiate supplier contracts, maintain contract records, monitor compliance, and handle terminations.
• Support internal and external audits, including supplier evaluations.
• Advise specialist departments on procurement activities, supplier portfolios, and compliance matters.
• Contribute to process development and implement changes related to suppliers, products, or workflows.
• Develop reporting dashboards to monitor procurement performance.
• Coordinate fleet management activities with leasing providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• One to two years of experience in Digital, Procurement, or Supply Chain projects, particularly in process optimization.
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to quickly grasp complex issues.
• Flexibility and creativity to adapt to dynamic market conditions and find solutions.
• Independent team player with assertiveness and initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; familiarity with B2B interfaces or internet programs is beneficial.
• Fluency in German and English at C1 level, plus IT affinity with SAP.
