Project Manager CAPEX

Roche seeks a Senior Project Manager for CAPEX projects in Rotkreuz. The role focuses on leading engineering teams, ensuring strict compliance, and delivering capital projects on time and within budget.

This position is tasked with overseeing the design and execution of capital projects to ensure all objectives defined in the Credit Application, URB, URS, project charter, and PEP are met. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing, onboarding, and leading the engineering team to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project design and execution to align with goals set in the Credit Application, URB, URS, project charter, and PEP.
• Build, onboard, and lead the engineering team, coordinating activities and securing necessary resources.
• Guarantee adherence to corporate and site directives, standard operating procedures, local laws, and building codes.
• Manage project controls including scope, cost, schedule, progress, risk, and change management, while providing monthly forecasts.
• Report project status, key issues, and corrective actions to the project steering committee on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, construction, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a project manager for capital projects.
• Prior experience managing projects within the DIA process.
• Strong collaboration, team-building, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in a matrix environment.
• Deep understanding of customer needs.
• Excellent project management and planning capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
