Purchaser (Fluent in English)

Fischer Connectors seeks a Purchaser fluent in English and French to manage procurement for its production site and external partners in Switzerland.

The company is looking for a professional to handle the ordering of direct and indirect materials for its Conextivity Group production site and external partners. The primary objective is to coordinate all procurement activities, from issuing purchase orders to ensuring timely delivery and maintaining material availability for operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders within set deadlines.
• Process material requests in line with customer, planning, and R&D requirements.
• Track supplier deliveries and evaluate performance.
• Analyze requests to improve processes and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Manage costs and inventory levels for indirect materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams on material availability and priorities.
• Communicate with all departments involved in the procurement process.
• Maintain accurate purchase master data in the ERP system.
• Identify and escalate risks or bottlenecks that could hinder task completion.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and tools to monitor operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and company development initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or programming within an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, or JD Edwards; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
