The company seeks a QC Project Manager for Microbiology Pharma in Schoenenwerd to oversee customer projects, ensure GMP compliance, and support business growth in Switzerland.
This position plays a key role in the company's expansion within Switzerland. The incumbent will supervise customer projects centered on Microbiology and related subcontracted analytical services, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee customer projects with a primary focus on Microbiology, including Environmental and Utility Testing, alongside related subcontracted analytical services within the Eurofins network.
- Plan and organize customer projects, including the review of technical documents, project plans, and validation reports.
- Configure and map projects within the LIMS system to ensure accurate tracking and management.
- Ensure that all commissioned analytical work is executed correctly, on schedule, and in compliance with GMP standards.
- Approve analysis results and final reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide scientific support and supervision for ongoing customer projects and assist in acquiring new business opportunities.
- Process laboratory deviations and conduct root cause analyses (OOS) to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate on the preparation and creation of project quotations.
- Contribute to general process optimization and the continuous development of site operations.
- Review and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices and requirements.
Requirements
- A completed degree in life sciences, such as pharmacy, biochemistry, or biology, with a preference for microbiology.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in a regulated environment, including ISO 17025, GLP, and ideally GMP.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical quality control, specifically in microbiology and clean water analysis.
- Fluency in German at a very good level and proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in project management is desirable.
- Knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with LIMS systems is preferred.
