RAM Engineer

GlobalEngineer GmbH seeks a Mid-level RAM Engineer in Zürich to ensure product safety and availability through rigorous analysis and compliance with international standards.

GlobalEngineer GmbH is an innovative firm active in mechanical and plant engineering, new system development, and testing. This position aims to strengthen the engineering team immediately by focusing on reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee product safety and availability by managing RAM tasks during development while adhering to legal regulations, international standards, and internal directives.
• Analyze project requirements to define clear technical objectives.
• Plan and execute program schedules and workshops aligned with the V-model development process.
• Document and track technical assumptions, constraints, and guidelines within proposals and projects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including system, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
• Perform necessary RAM analyses to support project goals.
• Coordinate and lead specialized workshops, examinations, and document reviews.
• Gather and prepare data, evidence, and certificates required for verification.
• Create comprehensive verification documentation.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience as a RAM Engineer or Manager within a regulated industry.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills.

Nice to have

• Fluent proficiency in German.
