The position centers on advancing whole-body motion synthesis and vision-conditioned generative techniques. The primary objective involves creating and implementing cutting-edge multimodal models to drive robot trajectory planning within a fast-paced robotics environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced multimodal generative models to produce robot trajectories.
- Integrate learning-based trajectory synthesis into operational robotic systems.
- Lead project initiatives and make independent technical decisions.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in developing and training generative architectures like diffusion networks, flow matching, or masked Transformers.
- PhD or Master’s degree in generative modeling, human motion synthesis, or learning-based robot trajectory generation, supported by relevant project work.
- Demonstrated research excellence with publications at premier computer vision, graphics, or robotics venues (e.g., ICCV, ECCV, CVPR, SIGGRAPH, CORL, RSS).
- Proficient in Python and PyTorch, with practical experience in training and fine-tuning diffusion, flow matching, and masked Transformer models.
- Background in deploying learning-based trajectory generation for robotic platforms.
- Familiarity with modern GPU simulations like Omniverse or Genesis.
- Solid understanding of contemporary machine learning architectures.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-modal generative models.
- Experience with image or video-based action prediction from ego-centric views.
- Experience with ego-centric world models for human avatars or humanoid robots.
- Experience with finetuning foundation models, e.g., Gr00t or SmolVLA, to produce whole-body actions or kinematics motions.
What the company offers
- Competitive salary package.
- Join one of Europe's most ambitious robotics companies.
- Collaborative team environment with a bias for action.
