Mirabaud seeks a Risk & Performance Intern in Geneva to support investment restriction monitoring, performance calculation, and reporting under the Chief Risk Officer.
This internship, lasting six months, sits within the risk and performance team reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer. The primary goal is to ensure data accuracy across systems while handling daily performance calculations, attribution analysis, and investment restriction monitoring for various funds and mandates.
Responsibilities
- Assist the senior manager with performance reporting and analytical tasks.
- Compute daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics for all funds and mandates.
- Generate attribution reports to analyze investment performance.
- Gather necessary data for RFPs and marketing materials concerning risk and performance.
- Maintain GIPS compliance for all composites and participate in annual auditor reviews.
- Track investment restrictions using Bloomberg CMGR and VMGR tools.
- Evaluate current risk profiles against prospectuses, IMAs, and internal limits to ensure rule effectiveness.
- Create new risk profiles based on updated prospectuses and internal guidelines.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
- Demonstrate strong mathematical abilities.
- Be proficient in Excel and Python.
- Fluency in both English and French is required.
- Be available for a six-month internship period.
