Genedata in Basel, CH, seeks a mid-level Salesforce Administrator for an on-site role. The position involves managing the company’s Salesforce production environment, ensuring stability, security, and compliance across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Finance. Candidates must have proven Salesforce admin experience and relevant certification.
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining Genedata’s Salesforce production environment, ensuring platform stability, security, compliance, and efficient daily operations across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Finance. This role reports to the IT Business Applications Manager and is part of the IT Business Applications team based in Basel, Switzerland, and requires on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Salesforce production environment to ensure stability, performance, and data integrity.
- Serve as the primary contact for Salesforce incidents and service requests, overseeing the support queue and triage process.
- Handle user and security administration, including profiles, permission sets, roles, access reviews, and compliance controls.
- Oversee Salesforce releases, sandboxes, platform updates, and production deployments following internal change and release procedures.
- Perform data management tasks using tools like Data Loader and maintain documentation for operations and audits.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator supporting a business-critical Salesforce environment.
- Demonstrated skills in Salesforce administration, including user management, security setup, objects, fields, validation rules, and basic automation (Flows, approvals).
- Direct experience with Salesforce Data Loader and data-related operations.
- Experience supporting Salesforce in a controlled or regulated environment.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) or equivalent current certification.
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce release management and controlled production deployments.
- Background in supporting Salesforce environments integrated with finance or ERP systems.
