SAP FI/CO Architect or Manager

Michael Page seeks a Senior SAP FI/CO Architect or Manager in Geneva to lead Record-to-Report processes and manage SAP Finance solutions globally.

The company is looking for a senior professional to serve as the functional lead for Record-to-Report activities. This position involves overseeing the full lifecycle of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions, ensuring they meet global standards and support complex business needs across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and sustain end-to-end Record-to-Report workflows within the SAP environment.
• Partner with Finance teams to translate business needs into robust SAP configurations.
• Ensure all solutions align with the enterprise architecture and global standards.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across all SAP Finance streams.
• Mentor and guide Business Analysts and functional team members during project delivery.
• Lead project phases including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and user acceptance.
• Evaluate solution requests against business value and architectural fit, rejecting those that do not align.
• Drive the adoption of SAP best practices and template-based methodologies.
• Define implementation schedules in coordination with technical and development groups.
• Manage change control processes and authorize production releases.
• Create and update the strategic roadmap for SAP Finance.
• Assist Application Management Services teams with incident resolution and operational support.
• Perform impact assessments for enhancements, integrations, cutovers, and data migrations.
• Monitor system performance and business processes to ensure continuous operations.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO modules.
• Proven experience with Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles.
• Understanding of Treasury functions.
• Strong skills in SAP configuration.
• Experience with Change Management practices.
• Familiarity with Application Management Services (AMS) operations.
