SAP SD Consultant

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Mid-level SAP SD Consultant to support sales and distribution processes within the industrial sector, ensuring efficient integration and compliance.

This position serves as a functional IT role dedicated to enhancing business outcomes and operational efficiency for sales and distribution workflows. The consultant will act as a bridge between technical SAP configurations and business needs within an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Operations teams to map out business processes and gather specific requirements for SAP SD and MM modules.
• Facilitate clear communication channels between internal stakeholders, IT departments, and external vendors.
• Analyze business needs and implement solutions that adhere to SAP best practices and relevant regulatory standards.
• Assess, test, and prioritize capacity allocation for change requests across various operational sites.
• Configure the SAP SD module to align with specific business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sales processes and SAP SD functionality.
• Ensure smooth integration between SAP SD and other modules, particularly MM.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP SD processes and configurations to meet company policies and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA SD and MM modules.
• Solid understanding of sales processes, including SOX compliance, and familiarity with Salesforce solutions.

• Fluency in English, French, or German.
