Aebi Schmidt Group seeks a Senior SAP Security & Authorization Consultant in Opfikon, CH, to manage system security, GRC processes, and compliance for global SAP environments.

This full-time position sits within the Global IT organization at the Glattpark-Zürich site. The consultant acts as the primary owner for SAP GRC systems, ensuring robust access management and security protocols across both on-premise and cloud-based SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee authorization and security management for SAP on-premise and public cloud systems.
  • Serve as the IT system owner for SAP GRC, managing access control and FireFighter processes.
  • Maintain system security by handling user roles, authorizations, and password policies while ensuring Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance.
  • Design and implement SAP roles and authorization models aligned with specific business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as SOX, GDPR, and ISO27K, and collaborate with auditors on documentation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for SAP security incidents, leading investigations and resolutions.
  • Provide first-level support for daily user access management and guide teams on GRC process usage.
  • Represent the security stream in SAP projects, including rollouts and major corporate initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for relevant SAP systems.
  • Supply necessary data for IT General Controls (ITGC) testing within the security domain.
  • Deliver training to global and local business users on SAP GRC procedures.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a functional SAP security and authorization consultant.
  • Deep understanding of SAP system architecture, including SAP Basis, BTP, S/4HANA, and ECC.
  • Proven expertise in working with SAP GRC and Identity Access Management (IAG) systems.
  • Strong background in managing users, roles, profiles, and security within SAP ECC and S/4 environments.
  • Solid grasp of end-to-end SAP business processes, such as procure-to-pay and order-to-cash.
  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like SOX, ISO27K, or similar compliance standards.
  • German language skills are considered an advantage.
