Bachem seeks a Senior SAP Solution & Implementation Lead in Stein AG to design and deploy S/4HANA solutions for a new GMP manufacturing site in Sisslerfeld, blending technical expertise with pharmaceutical process knowledge.
This position focuses on the architectural design and implementation of SAP solutions specifically for Bachem’s upcoming GMP manufacturing facility in Sisslerfeld. The role merges deep knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain and manufacturing workflows with a drive for digital innovation, aiming to create scalable, integrated systems that support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions tailored to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Maintain standardized system builds and ensure compliant deployment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimize end-to-end business processes for production, quality, and logistics within GMP-regulated settings.
- Integrate SAP platforms with adjacent systems such as MES, LIMS, and shopfloor automation tools.
- Champion digital transformation by implementing data-driven, automated workflows and leveraging modern SAP technologies like SAP Build and AI Services.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards including GxP, CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and ISO 27001, while managing CSV, risk assessments, and audit preparation.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders in manufacturing, quality, and IT to translate business requirements into technical architectures and provide governance across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of experience in SAP solution design and implementation.
- Proven expertise in ISA-95 integration, specifically MES Level 3 and ERP Level 4–5.
- Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
- Solid understanding of GxP, CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
