The European Banking Authority invites applications for its Guest Programme, allowing national experts to second to the EBA to enhance supervisory cooperation and knowledge exchange across the EU.

This programme enables professionals from EU Member States or EFTA countries to work directly with the European Banking Authority. The primary goal is to strengthen a unified supervisory culture within the European Union by facilitating the transfer of expertise and fostering collaboration among financial regulators.

Requirements

  • Hold citizenship of an EU Member State, an EFTA country, or a nation currently in accession negotiations with the EU.
  • Be an independent professional working in a sector relevant to the EBA’s mandate, an academic affiliated with an independent university or research body, or a PhD candidate.
  • Demonstrate a solid command of English, meeting at least a B2 proficiency level.
  • Possess typical professional experience in administrative, legal, advisory, or supervisory roles.
