Senior Application Specialist

Sportradar seeks a Senior Application Specialist to lead technical ownership of Dynamics 365 F&O and related financial systems within its internal Finance Operations engineering team.

Reporting to the Application Manager for Finance Systems, this position serves as the technical anchor for the Corporate Systems Unit. The role ensures that key strategic finance initiatives are supported by robust application management, connecting seamlessly with every area of Sportradar’s business operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical health and daily operation of enterprise financial platforms, specifically Dynamics 365 F&O, OneStream, and Kyriba.
• Manage user permissions, access controls, and routine maintenance for all assigned financial applications.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Provide expert guidance to finance departments on best practices and system usage.
• Identify and propose enhancements to existing workflows and processes.
• Ensure compliance controls are properly implemented and maintained within finance applications.
• Deliver technical support to financial teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Partner with internal operations teams and external vendors to verify that requirements are met and thoroughly tested.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Tax.
• Proven ability to configure and customize Dynamics 365 F&O environments.
• Experience with integration tools and data migration strategies.
• Understanding of AI-driven finance operations, such as automation, copilots, or agentic workflows.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical systems and non-technical colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• A proactive attitude toward learning new applications and technologies.
• Willingness to travel and work with colleagues across different Sportradar locations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, or other complementary technologies.
