Partners Group seeks a Senior Auditor for Data & AI in Zug, CH. This on-site role combines internal audit with advanced data analytics, Python, SQL, and AI techniques to identify risks and enhance audit quality.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage data-focused audit projects across various business units, converting audit goals into analytical tests that reveal risks and irregularities.
  • Utilize Python, SQL, and other tools to process and examine large datasets, transforming raw information into actionable audit conclusions.
  • Implement AI-driven audit methods, such as machine learning models, anomaly detection, and LLM-based solutions, to spot emerging risks and control gaps at scale.
  • Communicate complex data findings to stakeholders and leadership in clear, non-technical terms, bridging the gap between technology and audit judgment.
  • Support annual risk assessments and audit planning by providing data-driven insights and highlighting technology-related emerging risks.
  • Stay updated on data and AI advancements, introducing new tools and methods to the audit function to foster a technologically mature team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance, along with 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, data analysis, or a mix of both.
  • Strong skills in Python and SQL, with proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Practical experience applying AI and machine learning techniques to real-world problems, beyond theoretical knowledge.
  • Broad IT literacy, including databases, cybersecurity fundamentals, and cloud environments.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical landscapes with confidence and ease.
  • A curious, technology-first mindset.
  • A natural inclination to use data and AI to answer questions, identify patterns, and solve problems.
  • Openness to exploring how data and AI can create value in an audit context.
